Loratab Withdrawal

How long does it take to get over the withdrawals from loratabs? I have been taking loratabs, somas and Valium for 2 yrs. I quit cold turkey, it has been almost 4 was since I've taken anything. My stomach is so messed up, I'm still not sleeping good at all. I have no appetite, every time I try to eat something I get sick. How long does this last? The first couple of weeks I thought I was going insane, I slept probably 6 hrs. In those first 2 was. It is terrible to be addicted to prescription medicine. I was taking 10 or more tabs a day, also at night I would take 3 somas and Valium just to sleep. I'm so ready to be normal again. The drugs were running my life! I'm so ready to run my own life. Good luck to everyone kicking this God awful habit. Please if anyone has the answer to how long it will take for me to sleep well and for my stomach to be back to normal, be able to keep solid for down, also I am still having diarrhea. Thanks guys and god luck to all of us.

I agree with self. I don't think the tummy issues are the result of wd's anymore. Are you still taking the Valium & Soma?

Hu Bunny, I know everyone is different and I am not a doctor, but 4 weeks to be having such tummy issues doesn't sound right. I suspect the valium is the culprit as benzo's are better to be weened off slowly. Start with the immonium and keep your diet bland, toast, bananas, rice etc. Some say zantac works wonders(?) It is not unusual for your sleep pattern to still be off, that will correct itself very soon. I wish I could tell you an exact time your body will finally heal but we are all so different. Isn't it empowering to have 4 weeks!!!!! Many congrats on that! Hang in there and go to a Dr. if your tummy doesn't straighten out. xx
