MH Friends

Question

Hi Everyone! 
I wanted to post to just say that I love you all .... To me it is pretty wild that I can actually care for people that I have never met before! I think about a lot of you daily and can't wait to see your posts!!! I never before MH posted on any website (excluding social media) I think this site is amazing and it has truly helped me take my life back! So many of you hold a very special place in my heart and I will never be able to thank you enough for everything.

im so glad i found this site it has been so helpful to me you all have been so helpful to me tho i am very new here i just love coming here i find during the day i wish there was an app so i could come here on my phone i look forward to reading all your posts a few times a day thanks everyone

I love that you posted this thread. I don't know where I would be without this site.  I love my friends here and am blessed they have allowed me to share in their journey as they have also shared in mine. Unconditionally, without judgment. I have never used social media sites before MH...thought I was the last FaceBook, Twitter, etc holdout.
Most folks in my world here do not understand or accept addiction.

Besides that, who the heck else wants to talk about drugs and not do them as much as us? Man, most people would get sick of talking about being your highest potential, finding ways to cope that are healthy, trusting in love again. That is part of what makes this grateful recovering addict so grateful.

You know....you're absolutely right! I check this site every day, a couple of times a day to see who's doing what, who needs what, where everyone is at in their recovery. It's good to have people to share this day to day crap with....MH is a Godsend! I'm glad your on it, and I'm glad we can all share open and honestly! Good luck!

This is my first forum too, computers are allergic to me. So much digging and working with stone has me too grounded. They don't like me very much. It is amazing, isn't it? I don't pick favorites, I do have some genuine cyber friends. I never thought I would see that in my lifetime. Opening the mind and heart never is the way we imagine it to be, it's usually harder and better.

I DITTO this too..Yes, even the above poster CIK has become one of my Best Buds..We do become one Family out here..Some of us connect with different ones, but we all are in the same boat on here. 
I think of many of them Every day. I get so lonely if none of my Buds are on.
I also Call some on here..Going to even go visit some soon. This site has been one of my best Life Saviors..I will NEVER EVER forget the ones that were by my side when I lost 4 of my Family Members in a 90day span..Lots of Caring & Sharing Souls on here..lol

It IS amazing isn't it?  I have found myself out and about and will hear a song or see someone or something and automatically think of a special person here on MH.

Even though we share electronically.....in many ways....we open up and share in a way maybe we aren't ready to "in person" just yet.  MH is one of my biggest blessings......and I, too, love being a part of this forum~
