Ok my absolute apologies then. I was kind of hoping it was fake, but since it's not you're in the right place buddy. I didn't take the benzos but I was on the oxy for 11 years. 8 months of coming up on July 21st. Hardest thing I've ever done getting clean. But it wasn't fun living everyday counting pills and money so I didn't run out...which I always did anyway. If it's been a month then ya never know, maybe you got away with it....this time. But eventually this sh¡t will catch up with you and the payment will be your life or jail time. I hope this has scared you enough to try re-hab again maybe? Goodluck to you though man!!
So sorry to hear that - but at least you have had exposure to recovery. I truly hope you can hear peoples' concern for you. It is often so hard to understand peoples' caring when we are using.
I have been to detox/rehab and even 30 day inpatient rehab at Passages Malibu in California, those didn't turn out too well..
yo,
I saw your post, and sent a message. I really cannot say if legal troubles await you; but I really hope you can listen to the real concerns. You mentioned the doses - how long have you been on them? People are truly trying to let you know the real concern is your life. This scare could be the wake up call you need. Many people get worried about getting caught when it is your health that is really the concern.
2-4mg Xanax daily and around 90-120mg oxy daily
Now one of my fears is seeing this doctor again, I don't want to end up seeing him and have him call the police on me while there or something like that. Might end up changing primary care doctors once again
NO, you aren't safe. You didn't "get away with it", and you ARE going to be accountable for your actions.
I say this from direct experience. It may take the detectives some time to get your case put together. But when they are ready, you are going to be contacted in person, and you won't be returning home that same day.
If I sound harsh, then that's because you need to understand the reality of what will eventually happen to you.
At some point, you're going to pay for your actions.
And this will always follow you around to EVERY doctor you see, every hospital you visit etc.
You will have a permanent red flag on your medical records that cannot be removed. Also, you will NEVER be prescribed anything stronger than an NSAID. Ever. That is, if you're lucky enough to have a doctor even willing to see you.
Your life will severely affected. Be prepared, cuz this is going to be very difficult.
The fact that you have a criminal history is going to have a major impact on your sentencing. The judge will be harsh and will not give you any leniency whatsoever.
Get a good lawyer because you're going to need it.
If I sound cold, it's for your own good. You need a wake-up call. And this one is going to suck for a very long time.
