Don't be hard on yourself about relapsing. I did it many times. This time I am closing in on a month clean. Now the only issues I have are with cravings. My mind just wants the no care buzz again. I have plenty of energy, thanks in large part to taking a lot of aminos and vitamins, a little healthier diet, and some light weightlifting. This is the longest I have gone without hydrocodone in over 2 years. I hope I don't relapse now. But it is still a struggle at times. Keep trying and eventually it will stick. In the past I would have been on the phone making Dr.'s appointments, but this time I didn't, and it is such a free feeling. Good luck and if you fall down, try again. It's never too late.
Good luck to both of you. You guys should be really proud of yourselves for picking up and starting over. That takes courage. Keep posting and let us know how you're doing. We're all pulling for you.
Hey Mike a quittin buddy...A new guy named Gundo was planning on making Today his quitting day too but quit hearing from him. 12 o clock was 24 hrs. for me and it's 706 here in Pgh so I am 31 hrs. 6 minutes. We quit almost the exact same time. Good luck to you this time. Corey
Please don't feel alone in your reattempt at getting clean as I am on the same road and 31 hours into it now. Mike
