Day 30 today! Woot Woot!

Wow, here I am.  Never imagined being able to get this far as I have never been one to follow through w/ anything in my life.
But, here I am.
It's been one heck of a hard ride.  The ups and downs, the extreme anxiety and depression, fatigue and overall sick feeling.
My motto the first 7 days was that I had to be ok with not being ok.
I thought when I lost my husband to a 4 month battle w/ Luekemia a few years back that it was the hardest thing I had ever and would ever go through.
As that situation was hard, I have learned that this was harder.
I will always have so many great memories of him to hold onto that will carry me through life and cannot say the same about my addiction.
I came into this 30 days ago with no real expectations to ever see 30 days.
I am here and I for once in my life, am so damn proud of myself.
And I know I couldn't have done it w/out everyone on this forum.
Everyone here is truely my support system everyday and I praise the Lord for guiding me to stumble across this site a month ago.
For anyone new or just starting their detox, please hold tight and have faith.  You can do this!

I will continue to "Fight the Fight".  This saying is so dear to my heart as it was my husbands motto while going through what he did.  So, here's to him, for fighting the fight 110% and here's to his wife, who now lives by this motto in her own battles.
