Need Help for Crack Addicted Husband
I am really nervous about posting anything because I am scared my husband will find out... I used to smoke crack, shoot anything that would breakdown and get drunk on a regular basis. I have been clean a little over 8 years. my husband helped me in my recovery. I found out he was smoking crack on my 7 year mark and have been dealing with it every since. we have 5 children and I only work 15 hours a week. I don't have the urge to get high with him but I really want him to stop it is ruining our family. what can I do?

What CAN YOU do? You can ask him to go to IOP in your local area to where he can still work and detox and get help? You can take your 5 kids and leave? He helped you....so now you help him! Confront him and tell him you won't put up with it....(this is what I would do).....Are you working a program that you are surrounded by people that are not using and have a support system of other non-using addicts?
