Hello, I am 46 days off lortab and still feeling a little anxious, and nervous, I still have headaches, and feel kind of like displacement in my head and really depressed.  I am 55 and just dont know if this is ever going away.  Any comments would be helpful, is it because I am older or what? This head thing is making crazy.

I do wonder about that sometimes as I too was feeling the way you are at the point you're at and wondered if my age had something to do with that (I'm 48) - but I think bottom line is that we're all very different when it comes to our personal withdrawal/recovery experiences, but please, don't lose hope because you will soon turn that corner and it's going to feel GREAT.  Trust me I remember and it was such a relief.  Headaches will go away, the restless and anxious feeling will dissipate as well.  And although this isn't for everyone, I started taking St. John's Wort about a week after I quit and stayed on them for 6 months and I can not tell you how much it helped with depression.  Actually, I had NO depression, yes, some sadness because I knew I was mourning the loss of my "best" friend (stupid deceiving pills), but no depression at all.  Might be worth a shot as long as you don't take any med's the might interact with it so if you do just be sure you check with your pharmacist first.  Oh, and most importantly - CONGRATS on the 46 days!!!  FEEL good about that - and proud okay because you should be!  :)
