addict to painkillers and sedatives

could someone help me as i feel life is not worth living at the moment, i am in pain 24/7 and i cant cope,i have suffered from anxiety and stress  for 26 years and i so sick of it because nothing seem to help

Aww Katie!!! I want to give you a hug!!! I'm sooo sorry. Yea, my psychiatrist didn't help me at all either. I think that she just wanted my co pay. I started going to her when I was 20. I suffered depression and I had an eating disorder. She would put me on pills.,I kept telling her that the pills weren't working. Haven't been there since. So, I understand what you're going through. So, are you on medication? And for how long? The reason why we are asking, because we want to help you. Your family doesn't understand what you're going through? I'm sorry :( I'm also a mommy. I have a son too! Aren't boys fun? Lol let us know what's going down. More people will be here to help you. If u need anything, u can get with me on here. Your in my prayers.

Hey Katie, I just got here myself a few days ago and iv'e received some good feedback.  Sounds like your in a rough spot.  Man, iv'e been there and been totally hopeless with no way to turn.  I imagine your taking some benzo or barbiturate with your painkillers?  I was on the same deal and I did give up and tried to end it.  Thank God I failed at that as well as I do at my using.  I know it's hard to ask for help and your doing more than me by getting on here.  I have to give you a lot for that!!  I know I will ball everything up inside until it just destroys me.  I know those painkillers and anti-anxiety pills stop working after awhile and bring all that crap you feel right on back,  It's par for the course Katie.  That hopelessness should be a side effect on the bottle of all those meds.  There's people here that have been through it.  so hold on.  I feel very positive now that iv'e thrown all that stuff off.  A far reach from planning my suicide out a month and a half ago.

i dont think i will do any thing silly as i have 3 sons and the youngest lives with me , he,s only 18,, i have been to many psychiatrits and was diagnosed with gad but other than that they havent been much help, dont see much of my family as they dont understand how bad this is, i feel bad every day and havent left house for months thank you for the prayer

Hey darling! Welcome :) I first want to say, that life is worth living! And this is coming from a suicidal, depressed, crazy B!tch! Lol seriously, you can't think like that. Do you have support? Family, friends? When I was suicidal, years ago, I had to see a counselor, psychiatrist, and psychologist every week. What are you going through. What's wrong? Is it just ur pain? Girl, I know all about pain. I broke my entire back, 8 years ago in a car accident. I had to learn how to walk all over again at the age of 20. It sucked! Why don't you go see a doc for ur pain and anxiety? Can you please give us some more info about you. Their will be more people here to help you. So, keep checking this forum. I'll pray for you. Xoxo
