Hello, I also am a mother whose daughter is currently in with drawals from Suboxone.  What is the Thomas receipe.  I am looking for anything that will help her.

Hello and welcome, I feel for you, my daughter is also an opiate addict but unfortunately she isn't ready to get clean. Is your daughter wanting to get clean? Does she admit she has a problem? What is her drug of choice? From what I get on this site ct is the best method for detox off opiates. She will be really sick but after a week she will begin to feel normal. Hello there, I am a daughter and a mother but I can sympithize with you. Support is mainy the only thing u can do.Talk to your daughter, tell her u love her and her mistakes are there to learn from. We are all human and we all make mistakes. I am an addict to oxycontin..I have been for 2 or more years. I am proudly on day 3 of recovery.It has been the most excruciating 3 days of my life but have now turned into the most rewarding. Each day gets better, i will have ups and downs but my future bad days will be better then a good day on drugs. I can see better today, even after 3 days,my skin looks better. I am weak but happy about it. Please share these stories with you daughter. My mom doesnt want anything to do with me, she is lucky to have you. She may deny help at first but she will come around. Dont give up on her, be supportive but not pushy.Its hard to watch a loved one go down the wrong path but when your the one going down that path you just dont see any harm in it at all.

Have her seek professional help.  Detox plus psychotherapy, etc.  I would probably recommend a dedicated rehab center over NA.  Set strong boundaries and limits.
