Help!! Wanting to get off Dilauid.

I'm a 40 year old man and have been on Dilauid for 3 years. I take 5- 4mgs and 3- 6mgs daily for chronic back pain. Since day one I have been iv. What is the best way to get off it without going to rehab? What does the time line look like in terms of sweats, chills, no sleep etc? I really appreciate all input and thank you all in advance.

Slow and steady off any opiate will help... communicate with your doctor, be honest.

Depends on the individual and age. and if its your first time. I was on oxy's for 5 yrs and it took 3 weeks to get thru the horrific withdrawals, then the second time around, 6 yrs later, It took 10 days for the worst of it, but the anxieties, sleeplessness and rebound pain, is still there and Im on day 40 clean. If you dont want rehab, and try CT, its going to be ruff for a few days but some peeps on here recommend the Thomas Recipe, I never did it, but some say it helps others say NOT! Best of Luck to you.
