i am withdrawling from xanax

the ins co wont let me have the xanax and clonapin togther.......my doc prescribed the clonapin to help wean me off the xanax....so i been goin a week with just clonapin...kinda edgy....but i hope i get through it.   kind of having a hard time sleeping at nite.  ive been snappy lately, but maybe my body just has too get used to the clonapin now?  how long befor that happens?   i like the way i was before...,.....i dont like me now.

wow thats odd most doctors use valuim to taper of xananx .what is your goal are you staying on the klonopin? Or going off of both ?

We get used to feeling a certain way and it becomes hard to think outside of the box.  I feel you really are doing the right thing for yourself.  Klonopin works well and you shouldn't go thru too much of a change switching.  Perhaps you might think about a sleep med such as trazadone, talk to your doctor.  Good luck
