Pill Commercials

I may be straying from the core of this forum but I just wanted to ask........
Is there anyone else out here that is soooooo sick of the pill commericals on TV.  They are constant. And the thing that blows me away is that 99% of the time the side effects are so much worse than the actual problem you have.   Ok say you have excessive gas.  Take this pill to get rid of that probem but now you may have constipation, diareahha, upset stomach, headache, body aches, planters corns, imputence, infection of the liver, nail fungus, warts on your nose and last but not least, may cause death................LOL.  Duh, think I will live with the gas.

We all used to say in nursing school that when asked about side effects for any particular drug on a test, it was pretty much always safe to mention nausea and vomiting, and usually diarrhea too!  If you only knew the real deal too.  Like the s/e your doc. never mentions, and probably doesn't even know.  They don't tend to look up drug info. as often as nurses, so we usually have a list you'd never even consider.  

I am particularly sick to death of the male enhancement adds.  I'm a night owl, and I swear it's all I see.  It's not bad enough that women have to feel badly about their breast size, now we're heaping the size issue on men!

I think they're pretty funny with all the side effects. I love the one for social anxiaty but the side effects are gas, diarhea, yaun tremers etc.  lol yeah, that will make you comfortable in social gatherings. lol
