Unless the person ingesting the water has an abcess tooth or a bleeding gum (gingivitis) the chance of getting it from a drink of water is less than two percent if that....and that basically applies to sex as well with a person who has it and does not practice safe sex......less than minimal chance of getting it.....have that person get a blood test for the virus...or is that an issue in itself...telling the person who drank the water they should get tested to be sure?...I was curious abt this as well as I have a 10 year old daughter who always drinks from my glass....I told her don't and she has not since......and always use your own utensils and wash them in very hot water or use plastic utensils and cups so it will be a non-issue....if you need a shoulder to cry on or talk abt this treatment or you had a couple of drinks and need a "sponsor-type" person I am available 24/7 at ***@**** or 201-820-2405...I was cured on harvoni in 33 days.....as of today no virus found...It is dead....thank god! really I am here for you! Good luck and don't slip up. :-)
Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking but at the same time hepatitis is soooo persistent. Unlike AIDS, which dies very quickly outside the body, hepatitis can live on surfaces for weeks. And therefore lead me to believe it could probably live in water-even thought the container had apparently been rinsed and re-used as drinking water. I think?
I'm really not sure where they're at with getting sober. I don't hang out with them much because I've really distanced myself from using friends. I've suggested the resources I use to them and encourage them to do when we do see each other or talk/text but I really don't know how committed they are to it.
I get that. I wasn't with them when it happened. They asked me about it later. I don't hang out with them all that much. I have really distanced myself from my using friends. I have only taken suboxone for almost 2 years and while that is not clean, it's certainly better than where I was.
And yes, he did bang some sub after he took the klonopin and was in that weird, deluded state...it was even stranger than seeing people on acid. He doesn't remember any of it and cried when I showed him the videos of how he was acting. Like I'd said in that post, we both used to use so he must have had an old syringe lying around and in that mind state, decided to do that.
Thanks-Sorry, I'm new to this and still trying to navigate the site.
There is a theoretical possibility if there were, say, cuts or lesions in the mouth or esophagus of the person who drank the water. When it gets to the stomach, the hydrochloric acid would destroy it.
Does your nd have any interest in getting off this hellish merry-go-round?
We're here for you guys..
My concern is with the addiction issues in your home and hanging out with friends who are still using. Didnt your bf bang some dope the other night?
The answer is possibly, but the odds are infinitesimal.
I doubt it. There is a hepatitis c forum post it on that forum.
