Post Addiction and Happiness

someone posted yesterday that they felt they had nothing to look forward to being sober....I thought about because I am so excited I could tt in my pants right now...I am headed to baton Rouge...3 hour drive...to see Alabama play LSU!  Alalbama is undefeated...ROLL TIDE ROLL!

I just thought about it and there is life after addiction...a great life!

The tide rolled!...barely in OT...but they remain undefeated...I am so proud as Alabama doesnt have a whole bunch to offer  LOL.......and ochooked...dont be sure about ur gators rolling over my tide now....who knows?

Just had a wonderful day and it felt so good...the sun was shining and the place was rocking....no drinking in the stadium allowed so clean fun for all...no smoking even, which surprised me..i dont but my friend does and she was a bit irritated

There is life after what seems like death...hang in there everyone!

Every day something new reminds me how glad I am that I dont have that active addiction in life anymore ............ such a large world out there ------ more parachutes to test and more weapons on rocknroll to play with --------    God Is good ---------- and Family Rocks

I'm so happy you're happy!! :) I'm really excited for the holidays this year! Some of my friends are coming to visit, we're moving into a new house, I'm actually really looking forward to all of it! Good post...  inspiring to those who don't believe that 'real' happiness does come after time :)

I have found myself this last month at the dog park almost every day at the lake once and the Ocean once... and two country drives... This is more then I have done in the last year.... I love the spark my senses feel after being dulled for so long....

I get to have my grandson come and stay with me whenever i want now that i am clean!!!!

That is soooo true Worried.  I too am beginning to do things and go places I haven't done in years.  I am taking my daughter to see Florida Gators Play South Carolina next week and we are both looking forward to it so much.  The only thing I can think of that is going to be better is when my Florida Gators beat Alabama in the SEC conference championship in a few weeks -- now that is sweet :).  All the best.
