the other day i made a post about starting work tomorrow and being nervous......well it turned into scared as hell..........i'm in an industry that seems to have ppl boasting about what they've worked......anyway while in the shower being scared like a lil girl i thought man....i've worked some serious gigs......tons of musical acts from doobie brothers to paul anka...comedy- carrot top to damon wayans.....i've tech'd,,,built tore down world poker tours...huge political rallies.(usually medicated)...then i thought where i am going to work are a bunch of braggers and i don't get involved in any of that at any gig but i realized i've got big guns to pull out if needed.....it would make theirs seem like pea shooters.....as i said i don't play that game but it makes me feel confident that i have those in my holster.......they got nutin on me ,,,,,,,that's all folks....just boostin myself up and doing some braggin too i guess;;;lol.......feel free to boost my ego....i need it.  ;(...peace....oh and i've been paying attention to all the post and wanted to say congrads to those that have done so well............i  want that for me .................................................jerks   ;)

I know its scarey in a way, but like others said, just think about how great it will be to do the job sober, knowing you can do a much better job. I think we fool ourselves into thinking while we are using that we are doing 'better" but we are really doing "worse".

Good Luck to you.  You guys were so good to me a couple of weekends ago while my daughter and her boyfriend were home w/d from oxy.  If it weren't for this forum, I don't know how I would have gotten through it.  They're both doing really well and are starting drug counselling next week.  
I wish only good things for you and I'm sure you're gonna be great at your job.
