Had 6 days now just 2 days

Hi Everyone,

Ugh. Just ugh.  Found some Norcos I had in my desk that I forgot about.  It was like a reflex and I took them Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday AM.  Feeling tired depressed and ashamed today.  Happy they were not tramadols because those make me even more depressed.  Anyway going to take a bath and then to a meeting tonight. Hitting gym in morning. Cravings are up.  Hope the weekend allows for some healing. Thanks for listening,

Bummed out,
Goblin

I agree with Heather..

I like the saying " failure is not about falling down; it's about not getting back up "
Your back up and right now that's all that matters!
I want you to try something for me.
Forget that you took the pills, forget the 3 days and pick up where you left off. Go back to counting your days where you left off! As so many say, this is just as much mental as it is physical. Reverse the psychology!!

Give it a try and please keep posting!
I am in the middle of a move and crazy busy but I will continue to check in on you! Also, as I was once told, it's easier for us here to follow you if you continue to stay and post on 1 thread. I am in your corner cheering you on!

I took probably around 10-15 5's. Honestly have no clue. That was 3 days ago.   Woke up tired slept awful and stomach has been upset. Went to gym and walked on a treadmill which improved my mood. Going to lay down now and get some rest hopefully.   Just want to be done with all this.  I'll check in later.

Hey listen,
Don't beat yourself up to bad! Do you mind telling us how many you took? If you only took a couple just pick up from where you left off. You shouldn't feel that bad if you only took a few. Okay??

I ditto Sarah^^ your going to have to always keep that guard up! If you find another stash, run to the toilet and flush before you can even act upon it again!
Your okay, just pick up from day 6 and run with it.

This is why you always need to keep your Guard Up.  You found out how fast relapse can happen.  Turn this into something positive and continue moving forward.  You can do this!!

Hey,

Don't beat yourself up...you had a relapse, but you're back on the horse again.

It happens to the best of us...the important thing is:  are you sober TODAY?  Just 24 hours at a time.    Glad you're going to a meeting.

We're here for you.
