Subutex detox

Hi Everyone
I am currently on day 5 of my subutex withdrawal. Today was very tough. I just want to know if anyne has gone thorugh this, how long does it last? I need to get off this sh*t. It has been over 3 years. I want a normal life. I am trying to have a baby. I want to feel again. I am so angry with myself that I didnt get off the sub in rehab. I mean i guess it has helped me tremendously. But, enough is enough. I am trying to stay strong but it is so so so so hard........

I'm on day 3 going into day 4. I have only felt nauseated, hot/cold chills and shoulder aches and excessive yawning. I've been taking prescription strength ibuprofen 600 mg bland xanax 0.5 mg when I feel the heeby jeebies. I've been reading that day 4 is the worst so I'm not looking forward to it but I'm staying strong so I can get off this crap. It helped out at the time I needed it but its been 1 1/2 years now. I need some support please!!! Am I going to feel worse? I thought I would feel worse than this by now. I did an acupuncture session a week ago and it has cut down on the cravings 100% so I'm not wanting to take it. I'm just worried about the withdrawals.

The sub w/d's seem to vary depending on the person, how long you've been on, what dose you quit at, along with other mitigating factors. For me after 18wks on suboxone, the first week was rough but I started to feel physically better after that. I did have some lingering depression/anxiety issues, sleeping problems and also the occasional cravings for some pills. So your at day 5, that was pretty much the worse day for me, it didnt get any worse in my experience. I have to say that day10 was the turning point for me, I woke up for the first time in years not feeling like I needed a pill of any kind. Whatever you do dont turn back now, keep fighting, you've come too far to give in. Keep posting here for any questions you may have, theres a whole lot of support here for you. So keep up the good work, take care.
