kim is absolutely right you need aftercare. meaning na/aa, counselling with an addiction specialist or a pastor....some sort of support at home. this site is great but we all need more than this. good for you for posting...take it one day at a time...also, you need to disconnect yourself from your contacts...ppl, places and things have to change....GTMI always says...you will get clean when your desire to be clean is stronger than your desire to use,
AFtercare as in NA Meetings...to have a support group/system for staying clean...4 months is GREAT!!!
what do you mean by after care? I take vitiamans, try to excercise and keep busy. Mentally I think is the hardest for me because I am going through alot right now and fixing to go through alot more.
What type of after care do you participate in? It is absolutely the truth that getting clean is the easy part, staying clean is the real battle.Learn from your relapse, why did it happen, what are you doing wrong, and what can you do differently.Like a lot of people here say 'nothing changes if nothing changes'.You know you can get clean, you did it for 4 months. As far as 'doing one here and there',YOU CAN'T,plain and simple, you're an addict.I'm glad you posted.......Kim
