Why is god punishing me??

Going into day 9, been doing great.  2 days ago my 90 lb. wiemaraner started trowing up, took her to the vet and they gave her shots as it seemed a scorpion may have strong her and she may have ate it.  Yesterday we took her back as she was all swollen, get a call at 6p.m saying she needs 24 hours care??  We take her up there and her proteins are 2400, normal is 90-200 which means something is going on and all of the test shows nothing.  So here we are taking her back up to 24 hr. care again and still no answers.  We have been researching it and have been educating the DVM's, WTF.  When I asked the DVM if she was going to make it he laughed and said his job is to keep her alive until the morning so my vet could look at her.  My blood pressure went so high today I almost fainted, talked to my DPM and he put me on 10mg. benzo's.  I only took half of one so far to bring my pressure down.  I don't know WTF to do, I think I am losing it!

I was just scrolling through several pages of Med-Help and I came upon your post.  I very new at kicking my drug of choice Hydrocodone (Day 8)  I really hope you hang in there and please believe me, God is not punishing you, he loves you, but this whole earth is controlled by a Free Will Philosphy, meaning God often allows things to happen to us and the things we Love simply because of a Random chain of decisions any of his creatures make.  This is inplace because of the orginal sins commited by Adam & Eve.. That said he can and does help, just say your most ferverant words of prayer and ask it in Jesus Name.  I hope by now that Your beloved Dog is all better please give me an update on how you are hanging and how your dog is doing. I will place you in prayer right now.  Hang in There, YOU WILL MAKE IT !!

A scorpion sting can be fatal. Eating it is worse. Pain mes to handle muscle spasms is a must so insist on it. Their heart can become erratic and its very painful to the dog. Iv's are normal and standard to prevent renal failure. If they got the stinger out, he stands a good chance of making it. Meanwhile call Orkin or another service to get rid of them asap! We have the sand scorpions here and rattle snakes. The other day I had a 8 ft rattler snuggled against my door. Never saw it and steped right over it. Then it went into a hole under my home. I am freaked out to, but now I let my dogs out on leashes and called Orkin again. Hope your dogs ok.

Yes...I understand.  Sometimes with such an outrageous number they repeat the test ASAP in case of human error.  I'll hope it was a mistake...  :(

I am tired, haven't slept. My BP is still in the 180 range now as the 5mg wore of an hour ago, he told me to take the whole thing, but I broke it in half.

As for the vet, this is the only one with ultra sound and frozen plasma that is open 24 hrs.  He saw one of my tattoo's on my calf for that famous "security contracting firm" that I worked for and it wiped the smile off his face and he became really respectful after that.  I have to assume she was taken care of pretty good as she seemed normal this morning, but the blood test showed the proteins at 2200, down from 2400 in 24 hrs, not fast enough.  They need to get it down before it attacks her organs.

Is that the only 24 hour clinic?   For the money they charge ( and I know it's a lot) she
should be with someone who gives a crap!!!

Yes she is, she is on antibiotics and IV's but still hasn't eaten, she needs to, it has been 2 days.  They think something else may be going on, but they don't know.  

My BP was 228/166 when I checked.

Is the dog symptomatic now?  On IV fluids?

How high was your B/P to have to take benzos?
