No turning back

Hi everyone, just checking in. Last time I posted I was tapering and down to 7 10mg pills. Well I am telling on my self, it goes up but never down to 7 10mg pills.  Now I spoke with my doctor, something many of you know is a no-no if you want to continue this nightmare(as if I want to). PLEASE know sometimes that is the only way to quit, to be honest with your doctor. He is giving me a chance to taper off. I have 3 weeks. He said he does not suggest a CT, but if I take more pills than I am suppose to its on me.  After that I am cut off completely.  I'm ready.  I need prayers. I know I'm strong, but I need courage. Please continue your prayers there is no turning back now. Thank you all good night.

Thank you Penny! I honestly have no choice. My hubby gave me tomorrow's dose today and is still in my drawer. I know I have to do this. The doctor said to take the same dose two days in a row and keep tapering. I know we can not give tapering advice, and everyone is different. Under NO circumstances am I telling anyone on this forum how to taper, I am just sharing my story for support for me and for many others going through this painful journey.

Great job on talking to your Dr. That is a good step in the right direction. I know it helped me continue my tapper and to be disciplined and to be responsible for my actions. Good luck and keep pushing forward. You can do this :)

Telling your doctor is a HUGE and important step.  Kudos to you.  Do you have somebody who will hold your pills to help you with your taper?  It is much easier on you mentally if you are not trying to taper on your own.  You CAN do this and we will be here to support you.  Prayers for strength, healing, comfort your way!
