regardless of how many you take - you need to focus on why you are taking them in the first place, which is what counseling/aftercare is for. Please take that seriously or you will end up like i did and like steveies above said - taking handfuls at a time that dont even get you high and going broke in the process and ending up in pain... instead of having your "pain killed".
The hardest part is usually day 3-7 when you think you have gotten past the physical and it wasnt that bad and your mind plays tricks on you that "i can just take a few " and you end right back where you started. It is not easy, you have to really fight for it and make not using your #1 priority. I tried it my way for years and got nowhere but a bigger habit, now i go to a counselor and attend AA/NA meetings and i'm working on the problem that is in side me...
don't beat yourself up, get back up and focus on not using and staying clean and finding ways to keep it that way.
Amazing how hard this thing is to quit, isn't it? Not to say you don't feel the pain of WD because everyone responds and feels it differently, but 3-5 per day, even if they are 10mg, isn't that bad. I remember when I was at that amount, the pills still actually gave me a high. Get out now before getting worse. I got up to over 20 oxycodone 10mg per day plue 1 40 mg oxycontin per day. And that didn't even get me all that high! Don't wind up like me or worse. You took the one, probably zapped a touch of the WDs but not as much as you thought it would. You are probably thinking about taking another. Toss them in the toilet, and move on. Don't let the 1 trip you up. 1 pill after 3 days of none isn't the worst thing in the world but it could snowball. You deserve better then this, you really do.
