Yep.... The sleep and RLS is the LAST hurdle. You are very, VERY close to being over it though. Hot showers and baths before bed, during the night etc. They really help at this stage.
I've been exercising daily but it's inconsistent with the amount of time. I definitely need to get on a better routine. Right now I've been throwing a kettle bell around or long walks whenever I can fit the time.
I'm thinking my stomach issues might actually be a bug. My littlest one had his first bug two days ago. And now I'm having similar symptoms.
It seems like the last fight I'm having with the wds is the rls. I know my wife is getting tired of it. :-(
Proud of your attitude, Yaaaay You!
Congrats!
Have you been exercising and sweating at least 30 min per day? The more sweating the faster the recovery. I would also take Melatonin each evening to help restore your normal sleeping patterns that much sooner. Hot showers/baths when you are feeling restless in bed. It really helps calm you down and get back to sleep. Keep doing the showers/baths, taking Melatonin and sweat like crazy during the day! Sit in a dry sauna if you can for 30 min each day. Exercise will also help restore your "natural" endorphins, melatonin and dopamine. In other words.... it will get your brain and your body back to normal that much quicker. Good luck and great job!
I've always had bad rls coming off whatever. Yes I had it before the Zoloft so I don't think that is causing it. Though I wondered if it made it worse.
I'm just happy that overall mentally I'm doing great. I'll keep fighting the good fight.
Congratulations! It make take a couple more weeks. It's that unknown 'weirdo' quantity known as Kratom, my friend. Hang in there. As you said yourself, it's been getting better. Try to eat good unprocessed foods as much as possible and hydrate with plain water (2 to 3 liters per day.) Were you still having RLS before you started the Zoloft?
Hey brother! Congrats on the big 30! That's AWESOME. Sorry to hear your still dealing with the anxiety and rls. That drives me nuts. But... it will come and go. Something that helps me is to get up(ouch) and pace around with the headphones in for a bit. Then kick back in the recliner. Headphones still in, and try to pick some songs to mellow out with. And see if you can slowly ease yourself to the point just before you crash out. Then hit the sack.
Dan
congrats on those days clean!! i know its ROUGH with the no sleep plus RLS....all i can say is hang on.....the sleep will return...promise...and i was never bothered that bad with rls during WDs but i started getting it at bed time about 4-5 months clean...i was like WTH??? anyway, just don't fight it when you can't sleep, get up and watch movie or put music on. It almost drove me mad too, but it does get better!! you are doing great at almost 30 days!
Oh and congrats on 30 days! Awesome!
I'm with ya on the bowel problem! :(
Oh yeah one other thing. The ole bowels are still mad at me too. I hope I'm about done with that.
