W/D and Appetite

This is day 5 for me of being free from hydrocodone. the first two days were the worst but i hadn't eaten since day 2 of w/d. i just wasnt hungry. i am still suffering from a few w/d symptoms like chills and fatigue. however, my question is this: about an hour ago i noticed i was absolutely starving to death! so i ate something of course. so, does this mean my w/d symptoms are nearing the end now that im finally eating again?

if feels like im crazy hungry but then im full after just a few bites. is that normal? im still battling a few chills here and there and insane fatigue. chills are almost gone but the fatigue will probably stay around a while. i know i need to eat to get my energy back but with only a few bites before being full, is that enough?

There's personal therapy, group therapy, AA/NA/12-step based groups, you can ask your doctor for a list of resources,or call the crisis/help line in your area and they can give you some numbers. You can also google your city name with something like drug recovery and see what options pop up. That's a great question, feel free to ask about anything you want to know more about! :)

Try and stay away from caffeine also.  Eat bland foods right now.  Shakes or malts are good IF the diarrhea is gone!!    Keep moving forward!!        sara

Start with soups and sandwiches, crackers, ,things not too heavy on the digestive system and then work your way back into bigger meals..

On sleep, be aware it may take a couple weeks for that to get back close to normal..

Know and accept that now so a week from now your not possibly driving yourself nuts thinking about "when will I get my d**m sleep back!?..It can get very tiring living the day after day without good sleep feeling tired and wanting it to end..It takes a little while for that to come back..

Just do the best you can, try to avoid naps as they tend (at least for me) ,they tended to make my nights even more sleepless.  Settle in an keep counting days, Your out of the gate and running ..:) Good job..
