Heart beats fast

I have been through rehab for xanax .And they sent me home on terazpam and hydroxyzine pills. Then i stopped taking the terazpam because i found out that they had been just like the xanax but a sleeping pill.Stopped taking the  hydroxyzine about 10 days ago  because they made me sick.Didnt sleep for about a week now i sleep about 6 hours a night thank God because the nights are long. Istill shake a little in my arms and my heart still beats a little faster then normal . I just want to know is how much longer will it last. Or is it just the mental part that i am going through.

It's so hard to say WHEN you'll feel better.  We're all different. Mark your time in weeks and months. At two weeks, think about how you felt two weeks prior. They'll be a big difference.  It's a gradual process....

Thank you for your advice. I will get in touch with my Doctor . And yes i am eating now and getting exercise and getting plenty of fluids. I guess it from going cold turkey. I am going on day 11 and trying to be strong. How long before my body will go back to normal?

Hi~  Definitely get in touch with your doctor so that he/she knows what's going on with you.   Are you in otherwise good health?  What is a little faster than normal?

Are you eating well, taking plenty of fluids and getting exercise?

Hi,

It would be so hard to diagnose this for you here. I think it would be best for you to check with your doctor. It could be from the medication or it could be the onset of something else. Without the proper tests, there is no way to tell.

I hope you get to feeling better soon.
