Hi,

Hydromorphone is dilaudid.   You were on 48 mgs a day, so you're withdrawal could last as long as 2 weeks, but the worst of it should be over in 7 days.  Everything you are experiencing are normal signs of withdrawal, as Krissi said.   Make sure you drink a lot of water, take hot baths or showers for the aches (as many times as you need to) and try to DISTRACT yourself.  Funny movies, music, sex, laughter, anything that keeps your mind occupied in a positive way.

Be careful with the clonipin...it is also addictive.   Did your doctor prescribe it?

Everything you are feeling is normal w/d symptoms. It's really hard to give you a time because we are all different. It can depend on your all around health and age. Someone that fights everyday to get up and keep active that stays well hydrated will recover a bit quicker than someone that drags it out and won't get off the sofa. I know that first week is hard asf,but you have to push yourself to even go for a little walk,it doesn't just help your physical symptoms it's also good for the deppresion. Sitting in the same room day in and day out staring at the same 4 walls is killer. Rest when you need to,eat when you can and drink ALOT of fluids. Stay away from caffeine and sugary foods, they will make your rls worse.

I am no expert but I have read a lot about withdrawal on my many sleepless nights and my understanding is that hydro has about a 4-7 day withdrawal time..... but it is intense and feels like forever when you are in the grips of it.... the restlessness plagues me still..... good luck... post often we are here to help
