Withdrawals

I am trying to help a good friend. He has gone thru a lot of different addictions. He has been off coke for 11 weeks now, but I recently discovered he has been taking roxiodone the last couple months because he has been having back pain, but didn't have insurance. He got insurance thru work and today went to the doctor and they prescribed him tramadol, but he isn't sure the best way to come off the roxiodone because of the withdrawals and he doesn't want to revert back to the other stuff. Anyone know the best way?
Any help is greatly appreciated! To everyone I read about trying to quit, that is awesome, hang in there!

first what does btt mean, I just never saw that before. Kicking these drugs are hard, the best thing for himw to do is follow the Thomas recipe and stop taking all of it. Tramadol is like a narcotic your body reacts to it as if it were and some say it is harder to get off then some actual narcotics. Maybe he could try 800mg mtrin and kinda suffer threw the back pain, he is not going to feel well for a while but it is doable. Best of luck to you and your friend.
