Zebutal

How long before Zebutal is out of your system. I had a migraine over the weekend  and had some old ones up in my cabinet. They hadn't expired. And I only took a total of 3 with Monday being my last one. I have to take a drug test for work this coming Monday. Is this going to show? As this is an old script. So I'm worried about it.

It will show. The half-life of butalbital is around 100 hours making it detectable for several weeks even after only one dose.

Hi!! I would think it would be outta your system by Monday. Even if it is an old script, it's not expired, so if it did show up, all they would have to do is call the prescribing doc to verify it. But, I really think it'll be out of your system by then, IMO.

Does it even matter if the script is old?  Lots of people only use their script only as needed so it can last awhile.  I am not positive on this but I hope its true as I took some Valium I was given to me overseas from whats probably not even considered a legit prescription here but I was over in Afghanistan and had a lot of issues sleeping when I returned.

Anyone else know how all that works with testing?  Also I know the testing clinic will call if something comes up, do you simply tell them you are prescribed a certain med or do they run some kind of verification through a Dr or script number?

I would also imagine it isn't detectable after a week.  Is it even an opiate, if not then I wouldn't even worry.
