Help! I want off!

I just got finished reading some old forums, very helpful, its nice to know I'm not the only one out there addicted to lortabs. I have taken 120 a month for about 21/2 yrs.  every now and then for about 12 yrs. My doc and family are helping me to taper off, I just went from 7 a day (for 2 wks.) and now on 6 a day, 10's by the way, my question is, how long should I stay at one level, I dont want to take advantage but I don't want to short myself either. Any advice will help

p.s. my doc is kind of leaving it up to me and I'm not taking anything else to help....

I agree. Keep weening until you feel ready to jump. Write out your plan, stock up on everything from the Thomas Recipe. You can do this!!!!

Continue weening down slowly.  When you get to the point where you feel like you can quit taking them all together.  You might try the 12 step meetings they may help.  keep posting.
