Hi & Welcome. My question would be are you tapering all the way to nothing. Do you want off these meds for good? This issue can have some fine lines. Some people do need there meds and take them as prescribed. Others got addicted and out of control with them..If & when a addict has to take these pills, we can not have them in our little ol hands. They have to be given to us as needed by someone we can trust. As far as the Valium goes, please do a nice and slow taper from these if you no longer want to be on them. Keep close to your post. You will get some more response and yes more info would be nice. I do wish you the best. OK
Bless

I'm sorry! I missed the '20 Norcos' a day, somehow -- perhaps because I was confused by your subject line. (Or perhaps because I should be getting a little more sleep these days.. [smile, here])

Tapers can be very effective for some people but not many are able to do it on their own. If you could answer the other questions above, I'll respond further and I'm sure others will chime in with their experience, advice & support. You're not alone & you're in the right place.

Hey there & Welcome. Congratulations on reaching out!

Just got & accepted your invite. I'm a little confused by your actual subject line. Could you clarify a few things for us before I try to respond?: (Sorry 'bout this!)

1) Were you actually on Opium itself or an 'opiate'?
2) If it's an opiate - (which I'm pretty sure is what you meant) - which opiate were you on?
3) How long were you on it?
4) At what dose?
5) How old are you & have you had previous opiate habits?
6) Are the Lortabs & Valium by prescription?

Answers to the above questions will give us a better read on what's up and help us to respond to this & other questions that you might choose to post in future.

In the meantime, my short answer would be  If you're on any opiate, you're not 'clean'. Thank you. Looking forward to your responses. We're here.
