im 9 days off a lortab habit(10-12 day) for 5 years. detoxed inpatient. im having bad social anxiety. is this normal?

Oh yes the anxiety is what I am dealing with also. I'm finding that what I was told is true. first week you get over to withdrawal sickness. then than mine starts parking office 60,000 volts. so many thoughts that you can't think straight. today's date 13 for me I'm hoping by day 15 it will be subsiding. b patient I found headphones and music helps take all that anxiety 2 calm down. I know you can get through it I know it's hard but I'm being patient to

    Hi, I agree with Minn, I think it's totally normal.  I'm experiencing it also.  With time it will subside!  :)

Hi and welcome! Yes, I believe it is normal. At least a lot of people, including me, have and do experience it. Great job on quitting. Are you in any sort of aftercare program or counseling?
