... tried the Sub (30 pills).. got off it.... went back to Dr. and he suggested 4 pills a day.. well I abused even that BADLY --- took 56 pills in 3 days...  My wife and I are getting in the car and driving until we find an treatment center in the morning.  Took the last Sub at noon and I'm starting to shake... Do you think I'll be ok physically?  I'm hoping my short time duration on this Sub will have little w/d...   Any input would be great and I'll talk to you soon!

I don't know anything about Sub either I'm not sure if your talking suboxone? If it get to rough on you tonight go to a hospital I had to and it was alot easy to get into treatment. My prayers are with you don't wait to long to go!

If your talking about 8mg pills and you took 56 of them in 3 days that is absolutely crazy. The ceiling effect with suboxone is 32mgs daily, Im not sure what exactly happens when you take more but I know it doesnt help you out, or get you any higher. I kinda of hoping you mis-typed the amount of suboxone you took, otherwise there could be some serious health concerns. Maybe you had 2mg tabs of sub, even that would be a little above the maximum dose allowed. One thing I can tell you is suboxone actually worked better for me when I got to a lower dose(2-4mgs/day), Im not sure what the reason behind it is,but Ive also talked with many others that find sub much more effective at lower dosages, it actually would give me a slight buzz and burst of energy. Now if you did take 56 8mg tabs of suboxone I would go to the ER to get checked out or atleast contact the suboxone hotline. Again Im hoping Im just misunderstanding what you posted. Keep us posted on how things go and remember the ceiling effect of suboxone is 32mgs, there absolutely no benefit to taking more than that. I hope everything works out for you, you really gotta be ready to quit for this process to work, let us know how things go. Until then be safe and take care of yourself.
