LOL Just taking your name...Um...I feel foolish...I'm sitting here with soap tied to my calves...smells good...
@vicki....what are you gonna do? Run over me with your bus????????? ; )
@avis.....I tried that naked chandelier thing, and it didn't work?????
AVISG !!! I'm on the floor !!! LMAO!!
Lee Ann~ Yes I'm taking something! I'm taking NAMES and you're #1 on my list! ;0
I'm gonna try this soap thing right now!! I'll report back!!
maybe its like the soap under the sheets at the bottom of the bed for RLS heck we all know while in wd we would swing naked from a chandler if someone said it would help...lol
Vicki, are you taking something? : )
It's the pressure on the calf muscle that brings relief,I guess. I haven't ever done that but
there are others who have and apparently Ivory is the best soap to use. Now that's funny!! IBK will share...
I know...please tell about the soap, IBK??????
Don't feel sorry for me. I did this to myself and I am dealing with it. I am so thankful that there are good people out there in the world that care and are there for others that they don't even know. :) BTW: What is up with this bar of soap and taping it to your legs? I am sorry but I cannot stop laughing.
I can feel it,too. Poor you!!! Really hot water in the tub;soak until cooked!
Have you tried Icey Hot? That might help a little...And definitely Motrin 800mg around the clock every 8 hours. You need to build up blood levels. ;)
OMG....I can actually feel it again just from seeing you describe it! Heating pad and baths. I would say that advil helped me more than tylenol if you can take it. Take 800 mg.
Sorry! If it helps you any, I am having sympathy pains for you!!!!!!!!
I wraped myself in an eletric blanket in the middle of sept besides the hot flashes it did help with the bone and musle pain
Thanks. feeling strong mentally. i can handle the pain but just annoying. I feel so free not spending my day looking for my refills. :)
I remember that feeling like it was yesterday and it was awful. I never have found anything that takes it away, only eases it.
Some things I did---Hot baths, we talked about that. I also wrapped heating pads around my calves and tied them as tight as I could stand it. The heat and the pressure helped. I also taped bars of soap to my calves and laid on my back. These things, like the hot baths, were only temporary. The only thing I found to work was as much exercise as I could muster (namely walking) and time. You may come to hate the word time because it passes so slowly in the first few days.
Just give it another day and I think you will see a big difference. Hang in there.
