Welcome to the forum! I asked my Dr. and told her why I wanted it [wd's] since I'm already taking a bp med, she schooled me a bit with it, I'm just passing it along I ain't no dr. I've got a bp monitor at home and watch my bp. What she said was, she'd agree to give it to me but it's not a regular med for bp. It drops your pressure very fast, that's what it's for. So if already taking a med for it that it could go to low and we can guess what happens then. But we made an agreement that she'd give me some, but for me not to take it unless my bp went up over 160, hope I haven't violated any protocol's? That's interesting TH, I didn't know what it did besides drop the pressure, but have seen it mentioned often. clonodine that is
Yes, it's a good med for WDs. I have used it. You have to monitor your BP pretty closely while on it, and it's something you should discuss with your doc since you have some health problems. It doesn't take every symptom away and makes you feel super lethargic, but it's worth it for the most part. I would keep it to the first 3 or 4 days though. That is basically the worst of the physical WD anyway.
Good luck! Talk to your doc and keep us posted!
