Hey there,  I just posted a  blurb about the thomas recipie.  Read it!!!  I'm telling you bro, I've been through cold turkey and it *****!!!  It can be done, but why put yourself through unnecessary pain.  You will still feel like ****** using the Thomas, but there's no comparison!!  I used Valium & Clonidine which pretty much sedated me thorugh the first few days, and that's exactly what you need (if you can take the time off).  If your doc won't give you anything, I'm pretty sure there's somebody you know that might have something similar to valium ie. xanax.  I'd defineately check with a doc regarding dosage.  Just my 2 cents.  feel free to ask any questions and good luck.

I saw that and I can't really sedate myself because I have my daughter so I have to just push through.  how long does it last and when does it start

Well I've got 3 kids and my wife obviously took care of them during the WD's.  If your at it alone with the little one, maybe try to get a script for Clonidine.  It's a blood pressure drug that will cut down the sweats, and anxiousness.  If your getting the vikes from the doc, then maybe tell then your issue, and they will give you some meds to help you out.  WD's usually start within 8-12 hours for me, and are at there peak day 2 and 3.  Fatigue is the worst part once the WD's are done.   It's possible with no meds, just not as easy.  I did this for my kids and wonderful wife.  What a waste of life chasing these fricken pills around!!  Best of luck and keep us posted.
