dilaudid vs vicodin

After using vicodin for a year, I recently underwent more surgery. This time my surgeon gave me Dilaudid. I'm just finishing up 60 pills over 2 weeks (2 mg., 4 X a day). The vicodin withdrawals were horrible. Am I facing similar times now from the Dilaudid? Thanks.

You may face some discomfort comming off them. They are stronger than the vikes but, how long were you off the vikes for? And, If you don't mind my asking, are you taking them as directed? If you are just taking them for a couple weeks it shoulden't be so bad. At least I hope not, for you.  Good luck, let us know how it goes.
