Im i addicted to just plain "popping"?

Why do i feel somewhat better when taking any pill?  For example Motrin for pain? Its not an opiate but mentally i feel like its helping mentally?  This morning i took vitiamins along with 800mg motrin and within 2mins i felt like i satisfied my craving for Norco's?  May i just be hooked on popping something in my mouth at this point in recovery? 16 days clean btw and feeling great after a 150mg a day norco addiction!

Catch-22 -------   If you think you arre going crazy - you are entirely sane.  If anyone were to go through this and NOT think that they were going crazy they would be NUTS!!!!    Glad to hear that you found NA.......  and Motrin does help sometimes..

You are still at that point where it is psychologically fulfilling to just take a substance or a pill. You gotta admit that you got a jolt from 15 Norco's a day.... and probably felt pretty good for awhile. Congratulations on 16 days - - thats a big accomplishment....... Now, if you desire to keep that string up get some more help. An AA/NA meeting or some type of counseling from a Pastor or Professional.  You are at a great point - - but also highly vulnerable to relapse....... Dont stop quiting even after you are in full recovery.
