Hello All,Like i stated in my title i need peace not war.There was a situation a week or so regarding a medical procedure that was done by a caring mother to try to help the son she loves.I responded to the post possibly in what may of been a harse manner,and for that (I TRULY APOLOGIZE) especially taking the discussion from an intellectual point of disagreement,to personal attacks.I am here to say Principals before personalities.The other side of the coin,was also,And I dont Mean THE MOTHER,but 2 of her Female supporters also did the same thing as me WE all went from being helpful to telling each other to go F-each other, And that was the nice part.To the two ladies in particular i apologize for the personal insults i directed towards you,and I hope the feeling is reciprocated.Remember i am not perfect and make spontanious off the top of my head remarks at times.I spoke to a number of fellow forum members privately and most agreed with the fact Suboxone should be administered under the care of a dr.,but none agreed that i was the one to deside that,and they are right.One question i have though is why,just because a fellow member doesant agree with something,Why does it have to GET SO PERSONAL,TO THE POINT OF HURTING EACH OTHERS FEELINGS>I said in an earlier post that IM leaving ands that was not what i want to DO,but if i did IN THE general consensus of the group as a whole something that was irrepairable i will go. Please advise me,as im in not a very good emotional state,as I handled the arguments by getting wrecked on cocaine and spending every cent i have and now i feel terrible. thank-you john

With so many personalities out there, stuff like that is bound to happen. We all have the right to our opinion so once in a great while this can happen. 99% of the time this is a caring and wonderful place to be. Please stick around and you will learn this on your own. Best of luck to you!

I am fairly new and watched this forum for 2 weeks before joining.  It helped me so much I can't tell you.  The support was incredible.  I must admit though that after reading thru this thread, I was seriously thinking about leaving.  I had never read anything like that on here and it was disheartening. and made me apprehensive to continue being a member.  I have since read the apologies and am hopeful that I made the right decision to "stay tuned" because the love and caring out here is what has kept me going and made me make the right decisions.  It is sad to think that people would leave and loose their support from these wonderful people because of being turned off by this sort of thing.

Johnny, I don't know what happened but I have to say something here.  If you don't try and get a handle on your addiction you will be right out there using and spending all your money every time something goes slightly wrong.
Please consider going to meetings or therapy.  Life is going to be full of things that upset you at any given time.  
You can't afford to go out every time you come across one of those.  You can't afford it physically, mentally, emotionally and financially.

WOW---I am almost in tears, i guess as you all probably know i am very soft hearted...Althought i am one of those that when i get mad it is not good...lol.

but i can sure feel the love here...I am so darn proud of all of you, johnny of you for coming back and apologizing, and magi for accepting it!!!  That is hugh..

Sorry to hear about your setback...I realize how bad you feel regarding money, cocaine, etc.  That is tough, I have had to feel like that myself.  I guess most of us have,  It was a small setback, no permanent damage this time...just stay strong and keep going....this forum does help.  I would hate to lose everyones support and I am sure that is not in your best interest either at this point.

I too at one point engaged in myself into a conversation that got totally out of hand (not the one your speaking of ) and I was part of it. I felt horrible afterwards... I agree with the others, if in doubt that you have nothing positive to say... say nothing! I have to do this myself. There will be posts that will anger you to no end, if you feel like you are angered by the post, move past it and get to one that you feel can help you or you could help someone else...
