Well I am doing it, getting off the sub

For all that are trying to do it, I am going to do it and quickly. I decided I am going down to 2 mg a day from 4 mg a day for about 5 days then down to 1 mg a day for another 5 or 6 days then 1/2 ever day for 2 days then jump! I have been looking every where on here for someone who has actually quit the sub. Its been 4 months in all I have been on it and scared to freakin death of going through Wd again. So if anyone has actually done it, gotten off the sub PLEASE please email me and be honest how bad was it???? If anyone else is trying to get off the sub I will tell you exactly how it goes.. The liquid works faster...they have it at walmart....With the imodium it is hard to say an exact amount...some people do not get the runs like others..or not as bad...mine were pretty bad and started as soon as i began my taper and lasted 1 week or so after i quit...one dose would usually stop it for the rest of the day for me but sometimes i would take another dose later in the day...I did not go thru sub withdrawal but imodium should be used prn or as needed.....good for u...stay strong and keep us updated

Immodium is great and it is hard to overdose on it.  It mimics opiates but doesn't cross the blood/brain barrier so only works in the stomach --- great stuff --- in any drug store or grocery store.   You can do this --- get all the help you can and by all means -- keep posting.  All the best.

It is aggresive but I dont know if I want to pay all that money again for another months worth of taper but it might be worth it I have a feeling I will know by tonight or tommorrow........every time I get my refill I say I will start my taper and now its 3 months later and until today I had yet to start it.......

I think itis a good idea. Your taper plan may be too aggressive and too fast? Just remember that it is way stronger than other opiates so cutting even 1mg is a big drop. Go for it, though. Adjust it as you need to.

i dont know what sub wds are like im on my 22nd day on them, but im starting my slow taper next month. but i just wanted to wish you all the best and good luck. and please tell me what its like wding from sub that way i dont go into mine blind. but good luck and i hope all goes well for you. your in my prayers.
