Thanks again to all...
selfinduced - My attitude was something that I never really considered; it just happened because the longer I was clean, the better I felt (good days or bad days). After years of abusing and being a slave to pills, it was so much easier to not use, and the happiness followed. I believe that most of us have that within us; getting out from under the haze of meds is the first step.
Congratulations kyle! I really enjoy reading posts like yours. You show people that yes, it can be done. I am so glad for you! :)
THanks I appreciate the feedback. Continued Success.
YAY Kyle! You had the best attitude of anyone I have seen on this site. I am sure this is what kept you fighting......and now WINNING! Very proud of your courage, dedication and all the support you gave others even in the thick of your own journey.Way to go!
Thanks...I started sleeping OK at about 3 weeks, BUT, the longer I was clean, the easier it was for me to deal with the lack of sleep. As I'd posted before, my eyes stung but I was proud of myself and still enjoyed life. Once I adopted that attitude, sleep got easier. And the folks on this forum help with that too. Now I can sleep 8 or 9 hours without a problem.
Hang in there; it gets better and better.
It's good to hear from you. You always seem to pop up at the right time; you did the same when I first started adjusting to my clean life, and your encouraging words have been welcomed. Thank you so much. We'll keep in touch.
Congradulations Kyle,
That is Awesome!!!!! How are you sleeping these day:) I assume much better. How long before you regained a regular sleep patter. Thanks for coming back and sharing your story of success many inculding myself will draw from your story! May God richly bless your continued road on the sobriety road! Look forward to your feedback on the couple of questions I am seeking from a person who has walked the road Im beginning to walk.
