Well I went 2 my Dr appt 2day...well 1st off, my bladder pain was soooooo BAD last night I had 2 end up going 2 the ER...I was dehydrated w/extremely low BP...I got 1 little shot of morphine 2 help my bladder w/the painful spams & that's it...so I went 2 the Dr...he tried giving me more narcotics, but I said no!!..YAY!!!..so proud of myself!!!..got a different Med 2 help calm my bladder, so I'm still going guys, except the little bit of morphine in my IV, which I feel like a loser 4!!..but the pain was soooooo BAD, I couldn't even pee until it calmed w/pain meds...so do u all think I'm going 2 have 2 start from day 1 all overall again!?....

Thanks so much my SWEET friends!!..I would be nowhere w/out u all & I'm SERIOUS when I say that!!!!...u all keep me going, its like I don't want 2 let u down 4 all the time & effort u've made, helping me, answering my posts...& I soooooo appreciate every bit of it!!....yes Deb I got IV fluids, I was dehydrated & spent almost the whole night there...but only 1 little shot of morphine, they wouldn't have gave me more even if I did want it, BC I had a BP of 60/30..& anymore would've made it go lower, so they kept pushing fluids until it came up...ImDone, so sorry honey, 4 making u worry!!!...thanks guys 4 making me feel better!!!...so excited 2 live life pill free!!!!!

So glad you went to the doctors. Hun can't stress  enough the importance of staying hydrated. Dehydration is attributed to so many of the w/d symptoms.
Did they give you Iv fluids last night?
Have you eaten anything yet?
Happy you got some relief.

NO..I got to admit we were really concerned for you..I am so glad you went..You sounded like you were in so much pain that I felt it from the screen..Prays to you and hope you get better..lol

Teri, I can't tell you how happy I am and relieved to hear how well you are doing!  Well, I mean, I'm sorry you had such pain that you had to be treated, but I could not be prouder of you.  Everyone is right, sometimes you have no choice, you need the meds.  But it was controlled, short-lived and you've picked yourself back up and you're moving in the right direction.  So NO you do not need to start all over.  Not at all.

Keep going girl - and I'm with a few of the other posters above - you did have us worried about you last night!  :)

No way do you start over.  You have a medical condition teri.  I am just glad you found some relief.  Hopefully the new meds will work.  Great job on turning down the narcotics too!!  You are getting stronger and stronger my friend~

I believe, that a life in terrible pain is no life at all.  I truly admire your conviction. It's amazing. Glad you went to the doctor and I really hope it works out. Here's hoping your feel much better!

You should be very proud!! Pain pills are around for a reason ya know?? You can't walk around in severe pain all the time... You weren't addicted you were dependant right?

You won't have to start from day 1.  Also, DO NOT beat yourself up for getting that shot.  You are doing great!  Sorry to hear you were hurting so badly.

NO...I really don't think that you have to start at day one. You got medication that you needed, you weren't abusing, and that does not mean that you relapsed.
In fact, you are one of the bravest people that have come along on this forum for quite a while.  I admire you.  Compared to some of the other stuff that's been happening here, you are a breath of fresh air, reminding me why I stay.
