Is Day 3 usually "hump day"?

Well, tomorrow is "cold turkey" day.  In about 2 hours I will be taking my last 8 norcos which will get me through the night.  I've been taking 10/325 hydrocodones for about 6 months, and have worked my way up to 25-30 pills a day.  I started out at a "recreational" dose of 3-5 pills a day, but we all know how that goes.  As I have posted previously, I have everything in the Thomas Recipe ready to go and I am off from work the rest of the week.  I really want to be somewhat better in about 4-5 days from now and able to attend an event on Saturday afternoon.  We'll see how it goes.  If anyone is interested, I was going to attempt at least one post a day.  That is not only informative for you, but therapeutic for me.  I feel blessed that no one ever discovered my pill-taking addiction in the last 6 months, nor did anyone ever find my "stash" of hydrocodone.  Thank you, Lord.  Now starts a period of time I have not wanted to think about.  Please, can anyone give me a day-by-day account of what I can expect withdrawing from 250-300mg of hydrocodone per day for 6 months, using the Thomas Recipe?  It has to be better than not using anything at all...especially the ability to fight off the anxiety and the sleeplessness with valium.  Can somebody fill me in who has been there?

Bless your heart..and best of luck...I was a addict for about 6 to 8 months...Hydro...I quit cold turkey...flushed everything I had...the wds are hell...but they will teach you a lesson...you will never want to go there again...I cant help you on the Thomas recipe...cause I found MH during the wds...and could not make myself leave my house to get what I needed...I took lots of HOT baths, multi vitamins and B12, I drank lots of green tea..and ate cereal bars and granola...I made it thru..

I am clean...have been for over 200 days...and I feel great...

Good luck...Be Strong..you can do this..

Yeah, I am ashamed to admit it, but lately it's been 25-30 hydros a day.  I sort of lost control.  In my case, 1 pill was too many and 30 were not enough!  My personal doctor just gave me a blood test (which included the liver) and the results were all good.  That's another reason to get out now.  So what I am desperately looking for is someone who can teach me the proper way to do the Thomas Recipe.  For instance, on day 1 you do ..................; on day 2 you do ..........................; on day 3 you do .................;etc.  Does the valium start up right away?  If so, when and how much?  Do I take it more than once a day (I've got 30 10mg pills)?  When do I start the RLS pills?  What about the vitamins?  Lastly, can someone tell me what to expect during the days and nights, and what they did to get through the sleepless early morning or late night hours?

Hi Mlb,

What were you taking per day? The way it reads it think you were down to one hydro per day? Jules
