BTW...I'm a 42 year old married mother of 4....and i have many people surrounding me helping me.  That has helped immensely. Very lucky and for now, am going to use not dissapointing everyone to make it each day.  Would give me left leg (it hurts anyway) for some freakin sleep!!!!

Sorry.....i didn't mean to scare u. I was taking hydros and suboxones (not simutaneously) for like 12 years!  My detox i believe has been longer b/c of how long i abused myself and my body is definately taking its revenge on me right now. But if i can do then soooooo can u! Day 13 and it sucked bad...but i'm not going backwards!

Hi again
I believe motye was taking suboxone.  Suboxone, subutex, tramadol, Methadone and some others are extremely hard drugs to detox from.
Motye is right in saying in can depend on what you were taking.

Relax as much as you can and try not to worry about tomorrow.
Worrying will only make It worse.

Hi there
Everyone is different.  It can depend on age, health, length of time using etc.  IMO the acute withdrawals last 3 to 4 days.  Then you may have to deal with lack of energy and probably have sleep issues.
Also a lot of us have been taking the pills for severe pain issues so we have to deal with the pain again after we stop taking the opiates.
Then we have people who work through their whole detox.
I think you will be okay.  Today MAY be a little tough for you but keep posting and ask as many questions as you like.
We'll be here.

Hi again! Im glad you are back and posting. Hang in its a long way until Thursday and work. You are doing fine and there is no reason to be afraid. Everyones detox is an individual experience, and it is best to relax and just go with it. It will last more than a week, acute detox is generally about 2-3 weeks BUT you will be feeling stronger everyday. All you can do now is treat your symptoms. If you are in pain, take some ibuprofen. If you get RLS, try Hylans Restless Leg and/or foods and drinks high in Potassium like bananas and OJ. Drink plenty of water, and go for short walks in the fresh air. Did you see the link for the Thomas Recipe below? Check it out. The vitamins and supplements are very helpful.  Keep your mind busy and get lots of rest. Keep posting!
