Yes, now the cravings start. You got thru the withdrawels and now the work starts. This is where support is needed and a plan. You must start to recognise triggers and avoid them if possible or learn to deal with them. I beleive their is a very good post in the health pages about cravings.
The energy may be slow to come back. Eat healthy, get exercise, take your vitamins and amino acids (health pages too).
Remember, just because you're done with withdrawels, does not mean your cured, finished and all better. This is a decease that takes time to heal from. The battle has just begone. This is where you must be strong and seek out support.
Good luck, be strong and keep posting.

Pleaseeeeeeee don't go cold turkey!! I have read up on this stuff and even my Dr.and Pharmacist told me doing so can cause heart attack, stroke and even death!
I'm going thru withdrawls from mscotin (morphine) been on it for 14 months due to rectal cancer. My Dr. is a VERY SMART man, he took 4 yrs of internal medicine even after he got his doctorate degree and he knows what these meds can do.
I was on dilaudid 2mg every two hrs IV Piclined , and morphine 100mg every 8 hrs. I quit the dilaudid almost immediately after coming home from the hospital ( 5weeks total) and am now on 60mg of morphine. Starting tomorrow 3/24/08 he is going to cut me down...60mg in morning and 3- 15's (45mg) at night. I know I'm going to withdrawl from the lower dosage and its not going to be pretty, but its going to take a strong mind, will, to get thru it, but cold turkey is more harmful then anything you can do. Try to get your dr. or someone that can wean you down!
Thanks for listening!!!

Stick at it bud, those restless legs will settle down, I had it real bad, arms too, excersise I found was the best for me, and the hot baths, it will go away, be patient, it's bloody hard I know, but the end result is far better than you can imagine, just keep an eye open for the mental side of things, lots of strange emotions, anger being just one of them, your brain is crying out for the drug, it aint your fault, hang in there and please keep posting.
