Anyone interested in going on the journey with me?

I think if u work hard u can find accountability here...but peeps come and go alot..I started with a friend here from California..she just stopped communicating and never saw her post again...if u r lucky u may hook up with someone serious who can go the distance here...but it would be luck for sure..even if they make it peeps often get busy and dont sign on
Best place to get accountability is from someone close to u...let someone in on the secret//come out of the closet so to speak...the other//and possibly better way is to hit a meeting and meet peeps in real life and they will be there most everytime u go..if they r not others will be...AA/NA groups become very close knit..it is a great source of support

good luck..pull;thru on this...but i do see ur need to be accountable...it is a weak feeling right after letting go of our DOC...and support is so crucial

You are right God is good and he deserves all of the glory. It is only by his grace that I am not an addict. God bless you as you continue your recovery. Wow you can be such a role model for people through your witness. I am a layleader at my local church and I the person who teaches the teen Sunday school class is an addict who is in recovery. In fact I helped teach his class last Sunday as I talked about presciption drug addiction.

You too can do God's work. I agree that this site will help us find warriors wit various addiction related experiences who can band together to help each other fight addiction.

How do you plan to beat this adddiction? How far along are you. Your sucess story will be an inspiration to many. Just be honest with those who care about the most.

God is good all the time ,,,All the time God is good,,, no matter how you say it,,, He is good!

I appreciate your response. At lttle about me. I went through treatment in 2001, clean for almost 6 years and was blessed with the beautiful journey of recovery. It was not easy but by Gods strength and His wisdom of putting key people in my life it was amazing. I was never happier or healthier.

I again tried dope telling myself that I could handle it to manage my pain from a terrible car accident. What a bad decision, when my wife found out she decided to leave and filed for divorce. That just opened the door for more using so I used dope to mask the emotional pain of my failed marriage.

Now I realized that the best drug is God's grace.  I yearn to have that back in my life. I see Gods work through people that He places in and out of my life. That is why I am calling out on this site. I want to meet people that are fighting this horrible disease to become warriors against it together. I knew once I saw his site that I would not have to go back to treatment to rally up a support group.  I want to be a useful person again, with a witness to others of the beauty of living in recovery.

God is good all the time ,,,All the time God is good,,, no matter how you say it,,, He is good!

Ask and you shall receive. Good luck on this journey and God bless you. I am all about accountability as I grew up in a household where both parents were alcoholics and my mother was also addicted to prescription drugs.

I know the pain of addiction and the struggles people with addictive natures face as I fight it every day. A good freind of mine is o day seven of hus recovery efforts and I am his accountability person and would be glad to be your accounatbility person as well as I have the utmost respect to adicts who truly want to help themselves. A little background would help me. Also what is your motivation for wanting to beat this? Again God blees you and your recovery efforts. Are you enroled in a treatment program or doing this on your own?

Good job getting thru 4 days!  Its not as easy as it was the last time is it? I had 17 years clean and It was a piece of cake when I was 25. As you see with violetbloss the head game sets in next week. Glad you are here. This has been a life saver for me and I too feel I was led here by God.

Congrats on those 4 days clean. I bet you start feeling better in the next day or 2. Did you taper from the trams? Getting some type of aftercare and support is important to keep us clean. I will send you a friend invite now ok. We are all here for this journey, regardless of how long we have been clean. Keep posting, you will get a lot of support here. Feel better soon.

P.S. The title of your post is good. Accountability keeps us in line:)
