im in pain

IM TRYING TO GET OFF OF KLONOPINS IAM HURTING IN MY BACK AND CHEST AND UNDER MY ARMPIT. IM USE TO TAKING 2MG ADAY AND FOR THE LAST 4 DAYS IVE BEEN TAKING IMG. AM I TRYING TO COME OFF TO QUICK ?  SOMEONE HELP ME , IVE BEEN ON THEM FOR 5 YRS. MY CHEST FEELS LIKE  SOMETHING IS SITTING ON IT AT TIMES IM SO SCARED WHAT DO I DO PLEASE HELP ME I FEEL LIKE IM DYING.

Thanks for mentioning me worried. You know my personal hatred of Benzos! They should be illegal but the almighty dollar will keep that from happening.
Benzo1961, you have to take it allot slower than that. Your taper will probably take 7 months to a year. You can have serious seizures and medical complications.
Please refer to the taper schedules found in Dr. Ashtons manual. The site is http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/bzcha01.htm. She uses a cross over to Valium method. Find a Dr. and have them look at the site and kindly ask them to taper you as outlined on the site. Please let me know  if the site address didn't come through correctly.

chest pain is always a concern..it could be due to anxiety but having it checked by a doctor to be sure is best.....cutting ur dose in half may be a bit quick...maybe cut down 1/4 pill at a time...there is alot to learn at benzo dot org dot uk about tapering from benzos...needguidance can help u as well

maybe to be on the safe side u ouaght to go to the ER to be checked... chest pains are nothing to messs around with.. be safe and get checked...let us know how ur doing good luck
