What dose did you jump off at? I jumped at .25 just last week and although it was pretty crappy the first few days nothing severe.
Water... Don't stop drinking water, even if you think you're not thirsty. Occasionally something with electrolytes like gator-aid.
If you're going the home route, Google the thomas recipe. (Don't pay for anything, it's out there and free.)
