long term prescription drug abuse

20 years ago I broke my femur and was put on morphine for 2 weeks.  I was then prescribed tylenol 3 for the next 10 years...I quick cold turkey my tylenol 3, but I started having severe muscle pain and axiety.  My doctor prescribed xanax @ 4mg per day.  I upped my dosage as needed (up to 10mg per day) seeing less and less comfort.  It's now been 10 years and I am now on Effexor / trazadone and clonazapam but I am not feeling better.  I've been stealing benzos/anti inflamatory meds and zanax from family memberswhen I need to take off the edge...I don't know what to do...Please help me

Life is amazing when you don't have to chase the pills. All the planning and scamming. I took money from my family by spending it on opiates when it should have been getting us great vacations or a deck or anything that wasn't a total waste.  You can get clean here if that is what you're wanting. There are people here that know every pill you mentioned. I know how to wd from opiates.

Good luck I hope you make the decision.

Hi there~

I understand everything you wrote, including the stealing from family members.  That is what us addicts do.

You don't know what to do?  Do you want to stop taking pills?  How much did you take a day within the last year.  Trust me, we can all relate.  Can U give us more info?
