Hi & welcome jibbs - it may not be right but it happens unfortunately all the time.  co comadol contains codeine (which IS addictive) along with paracetamol.

How many per day have you been taking?  I don't have direct experience with this drug but know what it is, for this drug it is similar to the 10/325 hydros I was taking just stronger.   You can cold turkey this or wean yourself down if you are on a really high dosage.  Depending on how many you were taking usuallly the bigger concern is liver issues from high doses of acetaminophen.

I tapered down a bit over a two week period and then stopped.  I find it incredible a doctor would tell you that codeine is not addictive - unbelievable.

Have you ever detoxed before?  Do you know what to expect?  do you have enough pills to taper down and are you the kind of person who has the willpower to taper?  so many questions but this will help others to come along and give you advice.

I'm 77 days hydro free and it was the best decision I ever made!

You can do this, if you want it.
