God helped me find this site on my first day of detox and i just wanted to tell all of you how wonderful it is to have so many of you by our side, i have tears rolling down my face right now writing this. You are all a gift to so many of us in the thick of it and as for me WOW i soo neede this , im on hour 61 now and never thought i would be i got sleep last night a whole 5 hours Yayyyyy. I feel like i dont hurt as much today and no weird thoughts today im more focused and almost proud alittle. I just wanted to tell all of you that I dont think i could of made it this far without your stories and knowing that there is light at the end of this mess i got myself into. THANK YOU THANK YOU and im happy to be part of this forum and posting on people questions who have just started their detox makes me feel good , its like im on the cabboose in front and i can tell them whats comming up .Thanx again friends.

I think kitty doesn't (as she has explained in a message to me) how to create a thread or that fact what a thread is. I thinks she thinks she should be getting messages instead of repies in her thread. She need to be guided.

I am glad to hear you feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Isn't it great to feel hope again. Also remember when you were at 24 hrs and it all looked so dismal and now your at 61 hrs with hope ain't life grand. Keep going I know you can do it. I am very proud of you and yes this forum is full of wonderful people that help u get through your most darkest hours. So keep on keepin on. I am sending some I my strength to you.

Well done for going into detox! I am also glad I found this site, the sharing is so strong. Isn't it great to wake up without a hangover! I haven't been into detox but was offered it once and turned it down. It was a big mistake. I have stopped drinking again only to-day but with this site I hope to stay strong, if I had gone to detox I would not still be battling again, many years later.Please keep in touch.
