My story's the same, long affair with hydro/norco, and wasn't until I got cut off by my doc, and then I doubled down and cut off all other supply that I really had a shot at not relapsing.  You can do this, read all of these posts, there are alot of us that have been where you are.

Welcome. Norco was my drug of choice also. I've used for over 15 years, and am now clean for 153 days.
Days three and four will be crappy; try to eat. If you can't, then drink Ensure. You have to try to stay as healthy physically as you can. Read the posts on this forum - lots of great ideas. When you can eat, eat lost of healthy food, keep drinking, and try to exercise ASAP. A short walk will do at first.
When the worst of the physical detox is over, that is the time to start paying close attention to the mental part of getting and staying clean. The mental battle is life long; the temptation is always there, but you deal with it better the longer you're clean. Re-read kellkell's post; she's being very honest about her mental battle with addiction; how she charmed to get more drugs. Until we are truly ready to get and stay clean, we'll do almost anything for meds.
Hang in there. It does get better. Life without pills is wonderful - that's a promise.

I went to my doc the first time I got clean in December over Xmas and they prescribed some things that really helped me get through unfortunately I caved and the same doctor prescribed me more narcotics later. My suggestion you have to do what I failed to do. You have to make your doctor very aware that you are an addict and do not wish to have any narcotics or whatever period. My addict side kicked in and I charmed my way into more scripts. I am very ashamed that I am this way and have my own barrier to over come. But if this is going to work for you then you have to step out of the thinking of an addict and the thinking of a survivor to really get your doctor to understand you are done. Congratulations on your sobriety I pray you will go far with your faith and over come your struggles!
